År 2000, Specialist Assoc. Prof. Basak Şeker började sin utbildning i tandvård vid Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry som ligger i Turkiets huvudstad, Ankara, där hon framgångsrikt tog examen.

2008

2008 arbetade hon som forskningsassistent vid Near East University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Parodontology, i norra Cypern och var en av grundarna 2007.

2012

2012 avslutade hon sin doktorsavhandling och fick titlarna " PhD and Doctor of Science " från Institutionen för parodontologi och "Periodontology Specialist" från Republiken Türkiye hälsoministeriet.

2012

2012 arbetade hon som biträdande professor vid Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Parodontology och deltog i etableringsfasen av denna fakultet. Hon utnämndes också till personalen vid Pedagogiska fakulteten, där hon gav klinisk och formell utbildning på grund- och forskarnivå som hon fortsätter till denna dag.

2022

2022 blev hon docent, tillsammans med sina kliniska och akademiska studier vid universitetet och från detta datum fortsätter hon sina kliniska studier vid Dentarma Turkey Dental Estetics and Implantology Clinic i Antalya.

Hon har skrivit mer än 30 artiklar i respekterade inhemska och utländska vetenskapliga tidskrifter och mer än 50 artiklar på nationella och internationella kongresser.

Hennes yrkesintressen inkluderar tandimplantatkirurgi, tandköttskirurgiska behandlingar för peri-implantit, tandköttssjukdomar och -behandlingar och laserapplikationer.

Hon är gift med Prothetic Dentistry Specialist Prof.Dr. Emre Şeker och de har en son och en dotter.
