When the residues between the teeth are not cleaned thoroughly, it causes bacteria formation and creates a bad odor in the mouth.

After the zirconia teeth are made, bad odor may occur if oral hygiene is not taken care of. However, the zirconium crown usually does not cause bad odor from the coatings.
